Desktop Series: Mark Two

A Desktop Composite 3D Printer for Parts Reinforced with Carbon Fiber, Kevlar or Fiberglass

This 3D printer may be small, but it’s mighty. Use this industrial grade desktop printer to create composite parts that are as strong as aluminum. The top model in our desktop 3D printer series produces high performance parts. Raising the bar from the Onyx Pro, the Markforged Mark Two introduces additional continuous fiber reinforcement materials for a more versatile range of capabilities. Reinforcement materials include some that no other desktop printer offers: fiberglass, carbon fiber and Kevlar.

The Markforged Desktop Series combines industrial strength materials and high quality prints at an affordable price and in a small form that fits easily into your workspace.

Printer Specifications:

  • Build Volume: 12.6 x 5.2 x 6.1 in
  • Print Resolutions: 100, 125, 200 Microns
  • Base Thermoplastic Material: Onyx

Key Features of the Mark Two Desktop 3D Printer

cff-process

Continuous Filament Fabrication (CFF) Technology

CFF 3D printing technology uses two print nozzles to create composite parts, combining two materials into a single print. This unique process reinforces your parts with continuous fiber during the printing process, enabling you to have parts that are stronger, stiffer and more versatile than typical 3D printed plastic parts.

Onyx-Filament-Part

Onyx Filament

Every Markforged composite printer starts with Onyx filament which can be used for a variety of uses and can be mixed with continuous fibers to increase its strength. Even without reinforcement, this nylon contains chopped carbon fiber to give high strength, an excellent surface finish and heat deflection up to 293 degrees Fahrenheit.

precision-design

Precision Design

The print bed of the Markforged Mark Two printer clicks into place with 10 micron accuracy, allowing users to add components to the print bed mid-print! Simply pause your print, remove the bed, add your components and then click the bed back into place to resume your print job in the exact same position.

Eiger-Software

Eiger Software & Ease of Use

Markforged developed its Eiger software to make 3D printing simple. Easily import, manipulate and slice your 3D models directly in a web browser with this cloud-based software that comes with every printer. Printers from Markforged also have built-in touchscreens to help you connect to Wi-Fi, start parts and manage your printer with ease.
