CFF 3D printing technology uses two print nozzles to create composite parts, combining two materials into a single print. This unique process that reinforces the parts with composite fiber during the printing process enables you to have parts that are stronger, stiffer and more versatile than typical 3D printed parts.
Onyx Filament can be used for anything from tooling to end-use parts. This nylon is mixed with chopped carbon fiber to give both high strength and heat deflection up to 293 degrees Fahrenheit. Parts printed with this material will also have an excellent surface finish.
The Markforged Onyx Pro 3D Printer uses fiberglass as the reinforcement material for its parts. The composite material makes these parts 11x more rigid than ABS and 26x more rigid than nylon. It is ideal for getting a stiffer part at the most affordable price.
